So soft...So sugary...so rich. Oh god. So sickening. Sickeningly delicious.
Our school sells these things as fundraising. Every day. They're so inviting. They'll cuddle you in bed and say you're special. They're awesome. 50 cents for a ticket to sugar high heaven.
But then you get sick. And you want to just curl up and cry "Why Krispy-boo?! WHY?!"

Hypoglycemia
I wouldn't be surprised if I had it. I know people who have it, and I have the symptoms. If I don't eat I get very dizzy. I've passed out a few times. It's weird... I need to get another doctor appointment for it. Delays, delays.

Step 1
Kristopher told me last night that the first step of this diet is to drink lots of water and little to no carbonated beverages. I'm a soda junkie, so this is going to be difficult! If he sticks with it then I will. I'm still trying to figure out a way to have a healthy diet but maintain a healthy sodium level. I'm thinking of taking salt tablets. I'm going to do more research this afternoon.

Sushi tiem
I had to go to the Cardiologist today. I figured something terrible would have been wrong with my heart, but nope, I'm in perfect health. I just need to have more salt in my diet. This is going to throw my diet way outta whack. After I left the cardiologist I went to a thai place/sushi bar. I had 10 California Rolls and 4 pieces of spinach sushi. Yum.

Researching the meats
I've been researching healthy meats I can eat for my diet. I've found out that buffalo meat is actually pretty healthy. From buffalohillsbisonmeat.com, I've found out that buffalo meat has more than three times less fat then select beef, 143 calories, less cholesterol, more iron and vitamin B-12! I heard it was a lot more expensive than beef, though. Obviously, I'm going to try to buy organic beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. Turkey can substitute for beef in most cases, and I rarely eat pork. I've never tried sardines, but I've learned that they are very nutritious (especially since they're eaten whole.) I love tilapia! In fact, I'm having some tonight! :) Haddock is pretty good too. I'm not so sure about these being organic, but again, I will try if I can. I am going to ask my sister if she can pick me up some vegetarian sushi. The seaweed is also very healthy. This is all I've learned for now...later I'll research fruits and veggies to eat as well as drinks and snacks. Next week will be awesome!

A diet
I've been a documentary-junkie lately. Especially about food documentaries. I've ultimately decided that I should go on a diet. Not the "loose weight now!" diets you see broadcast all over the internet and TV stations, but like, a healthy diet. I'll try to get my boyfriend in on it too. I'm sure it will be hard, because I'm a junk food junkie and I destroy gallons of soda weekly. The last time I actually stopped and drank a glass of water must have been weeks ago. I'm going to learn cooking recipes from my family, and try to eat home-cooked meals at least 6 days out of the week. I'll try to make sure it's organic, also. Adsense told me they couldn't pay me because of the vulgar language on my previous posts. Well, hopefully now that they're deleted and I've turned over a "new leaf" per se, I can get the revenue and afford the organic foods. I want to do this, and juggling this with schoolwork and boyfriend aggro will make it a challenge, but I really want to achieve a healthier lifestyle.
